Cable Knit

Today, my boyfriend and I were having coffee on a university campus when we spotted a young woman tottering past in high heels. “That doesn’t look comfortable,” my boyfriend says. My first reaction was to wince in sympathy, but then caught myself wondering where she had bought those gorgeous pumps. Yes, I might topple sideways and twist an ankle or worse bruise my self-image, but what is life without fashion?! Oh pray that the invention of tumble-free heels is already in progress …
